Educational Principles

Four essential educational principles provide the foundation on which the Collegiate High School is based:

  1. Students should develop the capacity to think critically, solve problems, and communicate effectively through mastery of academic courses with emphasis on language and mathematics.
  2. Students should learn about themselves, their heritage, and the interdependent world through academic courses.
  3. Students should prepare for further education and work through elective academic and technical courses.
  4. Students should learn to fulfill their civic obligations through school and community service.
