Shelley Walker
Professional Dancer, Florida State University Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance graduate

The CHS was a pivotal point of my life because it allowed me to follow my dreams of becoming a professional dancer. After graduating summa cum laude from FSU at the age of 20, I went on to dance with Ad Deum Dance Company for three years where I had the opportunity to perform in places ranging from New York to Malaysia.

Ben Corbin Ben Corbin

Aerospace Engineering major University of Central Florida and recipient of a $10,000 Astronaut Scholarship Foundation Award

"The Collegiate High School not only prepared me for higher education, enabled me to accelerate through basic studies, and allowed me to pursue specialized classes early on, it freed enough time for me at my university to join and be active in clubs, volunteer tutor Physics, meet important people in the space industry, and travel the world for free. I would not trade my Collegiate High experience for anything."

Sarah Simpson
University of West Florida

It is such a great opportunity . . . by the time I left, I was more confident in, not only, myself but in my abilities to handle the future. Sending me to the Collegiate High School was the best decision my parents ever made.

Jenna Minter
University of Central Florida

Accounting Graduate

I remember most the loving staff, the great teachers, and the freedom we had as high school students. . . . After being at the university for a year, I realize how awesome it was to have free books and two years of college totally free!

Alex Phillip
University of Florida

Microbiology and Cell Science major, Chemistry minor.

The instructors (at NWFSCHS) are so gifted and courteous -- they treat you with respect and give you the space you deserve as a college level student. Dr. Ritter's college biology class paved the way to all the science classes I'm currently taking. When I did my science fair project at CHS, the faculty gave me full access to top-of-the-line equipment and all facilities. The college professors would always lend a helping hand when I needed it. It was amazing, and it really stimulated my passion for biology. Hence, today I am microbiology major.

Annie Wilcoxen
Palm Coast Florida

Flager College cum laude graduate

I became a teacher at 20 years old! I was definitely prepared for the college I went on to . . . the Collegiate HS was one of the best experiences of my life. It's a great atmosphere for students to be challenged without having to sacrifice their 'high school experience . . .
